I just picked up a Keltec p11. Like most out there the blue in thin on the corners. I was thinking about duracoating it. My question is, how does it wear on a carry pistol. Especially in a leather holster? Does anyone have their carry pistols duracoated?

I have 1911 slide duracoated titanium ,It actually wears better than blueing if properly applied but I recommend at least a week cure time after the coating is applied before carrying

My EDC Glock 23 is Duracoated. Has been carried in my Blackhawk holster for 3 years. Yes, it does get marked due to insertion/extraction from the holster but it has held up very well. Better than the original Glock finish.

No matter what you do to it , in time if carried in a holster, it will start to show
    signs of wear.
