    Near the big river.
We have then on/near our farm. Awesome birds.

A juvenile scared the crap out of the wife one day. It jumped out of one of the bushes by the house and ran into the woods!!

    Don

P.S>: Probably after one of the barn cats.

Bald Eagles are common down here in gods country, typically found on the bluffs along the river hunting.
A Bald Eagle can retrieve a much bigger fish than you would think out of water.

I saw one while I was driving along West St. heading towards downtown Indy where it runs beside White River just a week or two ago. I see them frequently down at Lake Monroe, but that was the first I'd seen up here. Beautiful birds.

I remember seeing one in a tree north of Saltillo (ask GFGT) maybe 8 years ago. We have several in the Avon area. Incredible birds.

I’ve been to Saltillo...both in Indiana and in Tennessee. :)

I’ve seen them here in Bono township, one just in the field not far from my place.
