    Here's a video on the pocket med kit that I carry everyday. I think if you are going to carry a gun, carrying a less lethal option like OC and carrying basic med gear, along with training for all of it, ought to be considered.

    Excellent video, sir. That is a unique and innovative way to carry a minimal kit that will cover a vast majority of what you may come across. I also agree that anyone who carries should carry a trauma kit.

    I EDC a compact trauma kit that never leaves the inside pocket of my jacket.
    It has a role of gauze, four 4x4 pads, 2 5x9 ABD pads, duct tape, medical tape, tourniquet, latex gloves and 2 alcohol pads.
    (I think it's about it)
    It doesn't take much room and it's very light, no reason not to have something similar on you.
    I carry a much larger first aid kit in my EDC bag as well.
