Sounds like a tough old rancher but makes for a pretty good case for having a gun within reach even at home.

Good for him for having the stones to get through it. But what do you expect from a guy who has made his living from working his butt off out in the elements for 70 years?

When the media recounts stories of things like this and just acts in what seems to be utter amazement at a person's intestinal fortitude, it makes me wonder what the status quo really is.
