Elf on a shelf at my house would be met with CCI CB.
My kids are all adults now.
    But even when little.............elves/clowns.............no thanks.
    We all think them creepy.

Cute enough for other people to do.
    But not us.

Our elf took one of my ham radios this week...
turns out, he and Santa are hams and so I looked up Santa's call (N0P) and the kids got to talk to him over the radio. they thought that was really cool!

The prior day our elf stole the batmobile from bat man. Bat man did not look happy.

Today he invented a cookie shrinking machine. (me, I think it should have been a cookie enlarging machine!)

He was found getting a piggy-back ride from a nutcracker earlier in the week...

Just a heads up to everyone. Getting close to bed time I just caught my oldest (9) setting up his tablet to record the Elfs movement tonight. Honestly if I wouldn't have walked in I would have never noticed.

I'm fighting a losing battle, it's just a matter of time. Tablet timed out after a few minutes. He is going with a new route now.

I'm in the process of making a AR type rifle out of dowel rods, popsicle sticks and some balsa wood. It won't be perfect bit good enough for the elf to have some range fun. I'll use the pile of sand he was buried in as a backstop. I'll make some targets to put in front of it. Maybe a plate rack? I'll see how much time I have.

Pile of brass shell casings, maybe 22s. Shooting glasses and ear muffs.
