Encore frames more rare than unicorns

I can't find a stainless encore frame anywhere. T/C and parent company S&W won't answer their phones either. Any idea when T/C makes a run on frames?

I just went looking and you're right. They aren't to be had right now. Wonder what's up with that?

Just last week though, I read that the ATF reported record background checks were set on "Black-Friday" (up 23% over 2010), and a second place record for the number of background checks was set the week before Christmas, up 20% over last year.

I was talking with one of the guys (who does the gun buying) at the LGS and he told me that TC is getting out of the stainless business. All future encore and contender frames will be blued.
