I am curious as to their explanation of "water intoxication". Perhaps they are saying dehydration is a medical condition and if your "supplement" (water with minerals) is claiming to treat or prevent a medical condition then it has to be regulated like a drug. They just wanted to save the water suppliers some hassle?

Sometimes I wonder if we wasted our manpower and resources to save that bunch of loons in the 1940's.

Reminds me of the statement that you MUST drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day. For years many have accepted that as gospel. Problem is ... no scientific proof. Finally they determined that you should drink ..... wait for it ..... when you are thirsty.
