Ayers and his cohorts are murderers.
    Period!!
His avowed goal was/is to overthrow our Capitalist system and replace it with a Socialist Regime, same as "O".
However "O" isn't going to be able to deliver on his promise so his Socialist buddies are turning on him.
I love it when the Left turns cannibal.

I would say something, but I cannot significantly improve on this explanation of the true nature of leftists. They indeed prove when afforded the opportunity that their faction of niceness and tolerance BS is just that!

Themselves mostly. I know that Bill's first girlfriend didn't survive. I believe there was also a San Francisco police officer that died.

A federal grand jury found that the police station bombing was the work of the Black Liberation Army. No charges were filed. The case remains active. The Weather Underground claim is being pushed by America's Survival Inc, which is one guy who wears his tin foil hat very very tight.

Three of them blew themselves up building bombs. Badly. I'm inclined to believe that budding young terrorists blowing themselves up building bombs is something less than a bad thing.

I do not wish to defend Ayers or Dohrn, (didn't like 'em then, don't like 'em now) but it seems to me that hysterical hyperbole aside one should have to murder someone to be considered a murderer.

Is not Charles Manson in prison for something similar? Whether he pulled the trigger, used the knife, or planted the bomb is irrelevant. What matters is who he convinced to do it. Bin Laden never flew planes into the World Trade center, either.

What happened to that little jewel of law making all surviving participants guilty of murder if one or more members of the criminal group get killed in the process of a felony, or does that only count in burglary?

The fools whose strings those scoundrels pulled actually committed murder.

Is it murder to share the guilt of those who essentially committed suicide by building bombs badly?

I'm not suggesting Ayers or Dohrn are innocents. They did some very bad things. They had some very bad plans. I don't think they should have gotten away with the things they did. I do not support where their plans were heading. My problem lies with the use of the term murderer.

Until they can be reliably tied to the Black Liberation Army bombing, the use of the term murder remains hyperbole.

I understand your point, but being deleted in the process of a crime like burglary has no more overtones of murder than blowing one's self up attempting to make a bomb.

    How about suiciderer?

    Either way, ok. I'll yield.

I've already found myself defending Ayers and Dohrn way more than I would like. (Long story. Reader's Digest version: I was in the Navy at the time.) I am only concerned that the word murderer will deteriorate into near meaninglessness in the same manner as the word terrorist already has.

Good point. Far too much mischief is done by redefining language.
