I accept the challenge that not all Institutions of higher learning are bastions of Socialism/Communism.
The fact of education is not the issue it’s the personal political views of the instructors that taint the education.
IMO a person could be exposed to the facts of Socialist doctrine and study it without becoming a Socialist. However if it’s implied that Socialism is the golden pathway it will unduly influence the student.

Antifa is centered around Colleges for example Berkley and schools of like minds contain staff that assist in the organization of Antifa. Some have attempted to organize a national network of Antifa campus support.
IMO it’s hard to separate Antifa from colleges?

Military education is pure indoctrination and re-education in a multi generational caste system. Low level tasks are taught by NCO’s as the level of the task increases so does the level of instructors. A level of experience and selection is also required for both students and instructors unlike the civilian system where money can buy education.

Aren't teachers one of the first groups killed when these types gain power?

Like I said earlier, FtW has several colleges, but none of this BS. I'll step out on a ledge and say W. Laf probably doesn't either. Not all colleges are equal.

It's likely because W. Laf is comprised primarily of hard working intelligent students. B? Pretty much a bunch of candy ass kids that were too old be babysat by a high school so they moved them off to "college in B.

Poppycock. That's just a bunch of out-group bias hogwash.

I went to Purdue, my brother and sister went to Indiana. None of us were candy ass kids (ask us about getting firewood in July or following the railroad tracks for raspberries), and we were all A students in HS. Heck, I was the most misbehaved and laziest of the bunch.

The only difference was our chosen career paths.

Now, if you want to say that drivers with IU plates are the worst of the lot, I won't disagree, but the explanation is different.

Anybody else notice that people with IU plates tend to not only be awful drivers that go way too fast and pay no attention to anyone else on the road, but seem to predominantly drive white vehicles?

Yes but these are only the Asians.

Nah, they drive way too slow. Of course, in my book, "too fast" really isn't a bad thing.

I just figure that it's predominately lawyers, doctors & such that have IU plates.

Me going home: ... Uh-oh IU plate... odds are they're going to cut me off in the roundabout....

Thanks for bringing up "Identitarian" Jamil. I'm not saying trying to research that word gave me a headache, but could I get maybe five bullet points on what the bloody hell that actually is? The Internet has failed me on this one.

The farmer admitted she is a member of the Identitarian Movement, but said she's not a White Nationalist. The Identitarian Movement says about itself that it wants to preserve "American culture" and opposes multiculturalism. Wikepedia calls this movement a white nationalist organization. Several other news outlets say the same thing. But, we've seen in the past that media establishment seems more willing to attach pejorative labels to groups that are opposed to left thinking ideals. It has proven incapable of accurately discerning between real ass hate groups and people who simply oppose far left ideas.

However, while I'm not willing to blindly accept the media's depiction of this movement as "White Nationalists", they seem to be on the spectrum. Preserving American culture and opposing multiculturalism isn't White Nationalism per se. I don't know enough more about them to make that judgement, and as I said, I don't trust the media to make it for me. I haven't seen any evidence that they would exclude from their ranks, non-white races if they also identified with "American Culture".

And, that gets to how Antifa is identitarian (small i). That's simply a belief that identities are important, which on the surface seems like a truism. But it's more to the point that the identity group has a collective connection. So, for example, in this way people who were never slaves today can collectively suffer exactly what their ancestors did, and are therefore entitled to reparations. On the other side, through identitarinaism, patriotic identitarian Americans today might claim a form of participation in the accomplishments of the Founding Fathers long dead. But none of them had anything to do with either being a slave, or a master, or a founding father of the US.

It's undeniable that we all identify with things, and that those identities are important, but some people take those identities to extremes not supported by reality. Antifa does this too. Anyone they see that doesn't conform to their identity standards is labeled a fascist or Nazi and then they justify violence against them. At least it appears to me so far that the Identity Movement is not violent.

I belong to a Baptist Church, NRA, Shoot Point Blank, a couple of gas station rewards cards and INGO.

I guess that makes me a white supremacist.

Well. To the identitarians on the other side, sure. Of course, the gas cards seal the deal. If it's not bad enough that you're a Baptist, you're also a ****ing capitalist, so...

Seriously, identity is important to humans. Ever watch your kids at a young age when they start identifying their favorite things? They start having favorite colors. Favorite TV shows. Favorite toys. Favorite, whatever. They're building their identity. It was cool to see this in my son. Made me think back to when I started deciding the first things about who I am. It's normal. Everyone has an identity. Where identity goes wrong is when it claims collective participation based on identity, rather than on actual participation, and especially when policies are advocated based on one identity over another. I identify as an American. Identity is closely related to culture. I want my culture to be preserved just like anyone. That's not morally wrong. Another culture trying to eliminate the culture of others IS morally wrong. Furthering policies which makes or insures that my identity/culture remains dominant over others is also wrong. It's fine if a culture is dominant naturally. It's not fine if non-dominant cultures work to destroy the dominant one just so that theirs can become dominant. Live and let live is probably the best way to preserve all that.

Mrs. Dye sank her own ship with this one.

Also note - I don't condone, at all, anything ANTIFA.

Yeah, TIL that "Identitarian" is a thing. I guess it's "on the spectrum". And even if it is, they are simply there at the market, selling food. No signs, no hats, no crap. There should be no problem

However, next weekend I'll be in Madison, WI. I know I will see tons of communist propaganda while I walk and look for my squeeky cheese curds and fresh bread.

Just wear your Northwestern U, U of Minnesota, U of Mich (gag), Mich State, or U of Illinois garb. That should confuse them well enough.
