We've been waiting awhile for today! Pick up went as expected with a pup. 5 minutes in to 1 1/2 hour drive she poops in the cage and gets it all over herself. Haven't settled on a name yet. Lucy, Scout, and Loki. I think Loki is in the lead.
Great time of year to bring a new pup into the home. Much easier to do the in, out, in, out, in, out of house training when it’s not 10 below windchill outside. Take lots of pictures. It goes by too fast.
Big Sweetie!! We picked up our last puppy in Terre Haute a couple of years ago, she was 8 weeks old IIRC and she spent the entire trip home to Mooresville in my lap. A few weeks later we took her to Oklahoma with us and the whole trip down and back she once again rode in my lap. Not a big deal when she was only 4 or 5 pounds, now that she's up to 75 it doesn't work out as well!
This is our Sophie. She is about 2, not a puppy. But by far and away the best dog we have ever had. She is a border collie/lab mix. Got her from Giant Paws Print out of Valparaiso. They are a local rescue that do a great job.
Our older one holds that name. Big Poopy, aka Big Stinky. Little one we have finalized as Lucy. Daughter got the final say. One girl out of 3 kids and a middle child, she has enough emotions on her plate. Decided she could use a win.
As you can see she can kinda be a hot mess. No coat, missing a shoe, in the rain.
No I never finished my deck either, job got in the way. Trampoline all janked up, Christmas tree blowing around the backyard. It needs to get warm I have a busy season coming up.
I love puppies! I breed my aussie with my buddies dogs every year. Each time I want to keep one. I haven't had a puppy for 9 years. I'm due. Cute pup and cute family.
