I have seperated a body into an upper and a lower with a single .223/5.56 round before many years ago. The upper part separated and flew up about 6-7 ft in the air.
It stunned me when I did it, I almost dropped my rifle when it happened.
I was using a Nosler 50 gr. BTHP backed by about 23 gr. of Varget, as I remember.
Oh did I mention it was a thieving spaun of Satan woodchuck?

be an "expert" when realistically they couldn't find their butt with both hands and a flashlight.
when being overran I imagine butt strikes being more efficient.

someone with little or no knowledge of the subject matter in question.

Accuracy and truth have no bearings in their world
    What a MAROON!!!
Is this a Mayor Pete thread? No good? I'll show myself out.

    I run 70 gr NBT from a .243win.
Get no pass throughs on body hits from 50 to 300 yards. Will kick up dust beyond the chuck if shot through neck though.

Switched to Nosler BT 30 yrs ago and its almost always a collapse on the spot w a black tail salute.

From the way you started out talking about an upper and lower separating I was actually afraid this was going to be a story about blowing up a gun with bad reloads. Glad that wasn't the case.
