A FB friend of mine posted a heads up the other day that he got word there was going to be some sort of "joint operations training" between some military (assuming national guard) and LE about some terror attacks in Indianapolis area in the coming days/weeks, so not to be alarmed if we saw troops on the streets. :dunno:

How credible that is though.. :dunno:

It was a funeral service for Jackie Lewis.

They had a butterfly release, and fireworks display in her memory.
It was at the Flanner and Buchanan funeral center.

My wife and I were in attendance.

Expired inventory? That makes no sense. Fireworks have "born on dates"? Sounds like "a guy at Walmart said ....." Sorry no disrespect meant but I don't buy that one.

I hear the story, but how has anybody confirmed it? I have heard fireworks from that graveyard on occasion. If this was a graveside fireworks show it was orchestrated by the most incompetent person ever! There was enough ordinance represented to last an hour, all detonated in little more than a minute? who/why would anyone do that? I"m not exactly calling BS, but in order to accept that there was such an ignorant display planned and exercised at a funeral I would like some solid conformation.

I have people in that graveyard. I will go today and look around. If the story is true, the burns at the launch site should be obvious.

It was the funeral. I wasn't there but my parents were. Jackie was cousin and her day Wayne owns Wayne's World Fireworks. My dad said they knew it was gonna be so loud they actually handed out ear plugs and had the little kids taken to the cars.
