Just heard on the news that you can carry your licensed handgun at the Evansville West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. But water guns are banned.

I gave up on water pistols. People freak out when they get shot. Like they don't take a shower everyday.

Not really news...

It's been legal to be armed at the FF for years now - provided you have an appropriate license/permit. Note - in IN, it's YOU that gets licensed, not the gun.

The news keeps saying these people are being arrested for being within 1000 feet of a school. I know you can not be on school property, but I thought next to it was ok?

In IN, with a valid license/permit, the 1000' thing doesn't apply.
