We all (but the youngest) went to Pigeon River range two days before Christmas. Oldest son brought his friend along (active Marine) and we all tested out some recent acquisitions. INGO friend canamscott met us there.

Also with the 1942, looking downrange.

    Also with a Norinco SKS.

    Same with me spotting.

Oldest son with an M70AB2T. This will be getting a G2 trigger set, as it currently has horrid trigger slap.

And with the CETME, cast stainless receiver.

That is a really good rifle. The first shots I ever took with it (on the 50 yard range) hit within an inch of the bullseye on the first two shots, iron sights. Our Marine shooter did even better. It sure is loud, but I like it. Everyone could handle the recoil (less that the Mosins).

Congrats! nothing better than spending the holidays behind some very nice weapons, brought in the new year on the range myself with a few of my army buddies and some hi powered rifles.

Always good to get some "trigger therapy" with the family. Nothing better than quality family time on the range. Good stuff and thanks for sharing. :)
