    When one looks at the talent level of the founding eagles is is no wonder a single band was not big enough for all that talent…
    Very true. I’m not a huge fan of them, but there’s no denying the talent. I think Henley is a complete dick, But years ago when “boys of summer” was huge, I saw him at Louisville gardens, it was a fantastic show!

    I left for boot camp out of Indianapolis in July of 1977.
    The last song I heard before boarding the plane for San Diego was Hotel California.
    During a dentist visit somewhere near the middle of boot camp I sat in the dentist chair waiting on the dentist and the canned musack being piped in played Hotel California.
    On the day I graduated from boot camp, I hopped into a taxi to head for the airport to come home and, you guessed it, the taxi radio played Hotel California for the first song I had heard in 13 weeks aside for the dentist visit.
