Legally you cannot cross state lines with a farm vehicle. although you may be able to get away with it... It is much more strictly enforced with farm vehicles over 26k GVWR

Other risks you run into is that you are supposed to use farm vehicles strictly for farm purposes. The usage must be to haul farm commodities to/from the farm only. IE, you can haul a straw bale from your non-farm house to the grocery store. Typically "commodities" are sold, a tank of water to fill a hillbilly hot-tub isn't a commodity... But then again, none of the above seems to have any effect on the gross abuse of the farm-plate... the risk of being found in violation of the above is so negligible that it's really not even a risk at all...

That being said, the IC is pretty clear and it was posted in the thread, read it.

You understand that the emissions testing was imposed upon Lake and Porter County by the feds and that the counties and the state have been fighting it since its inception, right?

And who imposed the central time zone and being White Sox fans?

Not exactly correct. From the IC
    IC 9-18.1-7-2
    Personal use permitted
Sec. 2. A farm vehicle may be used for personal purposes if the
vehicle otherwise qualifies for registration as a farm vehicle.
    IC 9-18.1-7-1
Conditions for registration as farm vehicle
    (3) The vehicle is used to transport farm products, livestock,
machinery, or supplies to or from a farm or ranch.
    (4) The vehicle is not used:
    (A) in the conduct of a commercial enterprise; or
    (B) to transport farm products anywhere other than to the
    first point of processing.

First, Central Time simply helps us keep out TV schedules correct. Second, what is the Indiana MLB alternative? The next thing you're going to claim is that being a Colts fan is necessary...and I've only been to Maryland twice.

We all know that the Cubs are the only acceptable team for Hoosiers; their never-say-quit attitude in face of daunting odds is a good role model for Indiana. Maybe the Reds for those in the SE, but they're a harmless bunch - unlike you regioners!

Move to La Porte county, then you can roll coal all you want.
We don't have your "tests" here.

I live on a farm and I don't have farm plates.
