Looking for some input on .40 S&W loads for use in a Glock 22. If possible I'd like to be able to use hard cast or Moly coated bullets to keep the cost down. I'm hoping to use 180 gr bullets. I'd really like to hear if anyone has experience with the Moly coated bullets like those from Precision Bullets or Billy Bullets.

As stated above, might look into a aftermarket barrel. If for no other reason, might get a few more loadings out of your cases. A lone wolf barrel can be had for 100.00 and is fully supported. As for lead, I have shot lead out of a glock barrel but I coat them with lee's liquid alox and use a hard cast bullet. The copper plated bullets are a good in between choice if concerned about costs. My g22 and 35 shoot the rainier 165 rnfp's well. If you do decide to go with a lone wolf barrel, might as well have them add a .357 sig barrel and the 9mm CONVERSION barrel while you have em on the phone. Great way to triple your fun !

I've shot about 1000 Missouri 180gr hardcast lead bullets out of my stock barrel G23 with no problems. 5.1gr Unique with CCI 500 primers at 1.125" oal. Maybe a little leading, but nothing that doesnt come out with normal cleaning after every 100-150 rounds or so. I've also found that running a boresnake every now and then when at the range pretty much eliminates any leading at all.

Lead is funny, if you load hardcast too light you will get leading close to the chamber, too hot and it ends up midway to the end of the barrel. Load it just right and you wont really have a problem at all.

Here's a good link to prevent barrel leading: Preventing barrel leading | Revolvers, Reloading, Ammunition | grantcunningham.com

I've also put a few hundred "hot loaded reloads" down the stock barrel as well with no case failures or "buldging" problems. 155gr JHPs (7.4gr Unique at 1.125" oal) chronoed at ~1200fps.

If you shoot reloads in any Glock it will void your factory warranty!!

    Correction:
If you shoot reloads out of any production gun you will void the warranty.

But by the time you reload 75 boxes of 40, you'll have saved enough money to buy another Glock. That doesn't sound like a hard decision to me. I'll stick with my reloads.

Regarding moly in stock Glock 40 barrels - I tried a minor load with 180 grain Black Bullet International in my Glock 35. The moly fouled the barrel pretty bad. I bought a KKM barrel and haven't had a problem with fouling since.

If I were you I'd give some moly loads a try. Pull the barrel out of the gun often and check for fouling. You might find a load that works. If not, get an aftermarket barrel.
