Completely depends on application. Cheese or heavy dark meats....a robust porter. Fish or chicken, I dig mustang golden ale or most any decent light ale.

Oh, and support your local brewers! Indiana is lucky to have some of the finest breweries in the nation!!

I haven't tried it in batter (I buy Bud or something worse for batter) but I will say that Horse **** Beer is actually pretty good.

I've never actually been there, I've had the vast majority of their offerings since 2005-2006. I still have a '07 and '08 Dark Lord in the fridge.....

Me and a few guys just cracked a 08 Dark Lord at our restaurant's recent beer tasting. It was fantastic. Aged very nicely
