Very Hard to limit too much...

    Handgun Loads:
    HP-38/WW-231
    HS-6 Mid-range
    PowerPistol a little hotter
Alliant 2400 warm .44 and .45 Colt loads
    H-110/WW-296 THUMPING Magnum loads.

    Rifle Loads:
    WW-748 Plinking .223 loads.
CFE-223 Most all General Rifle loads.
    H-414/WW-760 Larger case Rifle loads
    BL-C(2) + IMR-4064 Accurate .308/6MM/.270/30-06 loads.

Hard to limit--If I would choose 1 pistol and 1 rifle, it would be:

    HP-38/WW-231=Handgun
    WW-748 =Rifle

They would do all that I load, just NOT all that I load BEST....Bill.

Trying to use the same powder in multiple loads severely limits your ability to load the best you can for each. Just as I use multiple powders for 5.56/.223 alone. WC844 for everyday AR loads with 55, 62 or 63 grain mil-spec pills. Mini Mauser and TC Contender in .223 get H322 for light slugs and H4895 for 55 to 63 grain match slugs. I shoot a 7TCU that gets one of 4 different powders depending on bullet selection. In simple terms, I just refuse to limit my options. I don't just want it to go bang every time. I want it to send the slug exactly to the same POI every time.

My favorite rifle powders are IMR3031, IMR4895, WIN748 and H322. Pistol is Bullseye, Accurate 5 and 7 and HP-38.

I load many calibers and especially like the old surplus rifles so I keep a wide variety of powders on hand.

Rifle: IMR3031 is great because I can use it across so many calibers. H4831sc, 4064.

    Pistol: Lil'Gun, H110, Titegroup.

I have other powders I haven't tried yet. There are a few I ant to get to try.

I use Lil'gun and H110 for 300 Blackout. Good stuff. :yesway:

I've got several I've used, started reloading after Sandy Hook (not because of Sandy Hook, that's just right when I bought my Press), so I bought any powder I could find.

    Currently, my main powders:
CFE Pistol for 9mm and .45
    HP38 or PowerPistol for 9mm
    Bullseye for .45
    1680 for .300 Subs
IMR 4227 for .300 Supers (and Subs)

Last Powder Purchase were from Midsouth,
Shooter's World Clean Shot (9mm is all I've loaded w/ this)
Shooter's World Blackout (Subs is all I've loaded)

Love them both, the Blackout has been exceptional.

I have been using both for 44mag on my Henry lever. i played around a lot a few years ago and found a sweet spot with Lil'Gun. Both are awesome powders. I keep plenty of both on hand.

I use SR4756 for all handgun loads. Easy metering, mid-range burn speed. Appropriate load fills most cases. Clean burning. But, it has been discontinued. I have about 3.5 lbs. left. When it is gone, not likely to find any more. Am paying attention to what others are reporting here.

Man, Unique is like Frank's Red Hot...."You can load that sh*t in everything" !!

LOL. This is what I was thinking. I use it with all my cast bullets in .380, 9mm, .38/.357, .44/.44mag. Only when I bump up to hunting bullets in the .44mag do I switch to H110. I have not got around to reloading rifle cartridges yet.

Close to 20 different powders on the shelf, some of which I haven't actually used in years.

Unique and Power Pistol for, well...pistols. H110 for magnums and H4227 for some stiff 44/40 loads.

H4895 and H4831SC cover most of my rifle loads, but then there's the odd-ball wildcat stuff that gets RL10X. Also, LVR for 30/30 and 35 Remington/INDY. IMR4320 for my 225 Winchester.

I can't say I have a "favorite" powder; I pretty much like any powder that delivers the results I'm after in that particular firearm.

I like CFE pistol for 9mm and 45 ACP.
I tried CFE 223 and Varget for .308 and really like Varget.
    For 300 WM i have tried a few. H1000 7828ssc and H4350
I like the 7828scc with 178 Eld x - less than half inch groups
    H1000 with 200 Accubonds
I just loaded some H4350 and 7828ssc to try with the 180 Accubonds

I've got a lot of Titegroup, CFE 223 and Lil Gun on hand. Titegroup does all of my 9mm and pistol needs, CFE my 223 and Lilgun I use for 300blk. However, I am not super happy with it for subsonics. The performance is fantastic however it seems look leave a lot of unburnt powder behind in the gun. Varget and H4350 I've got for larger rifles as well but I'm not really loading much of it right now.
