The Python was only made in .357 magnum...the Diamondback, while visually similar, was made in .38 Special, .22LR and .22WMR. No other calibers exist outside of these for the Python and Diamondback.

I had a King Cobra .357 that was stolen in '91 when I was on leave in Florida. Man, what I would give to get one like that again or catch the SOB that was in my hotel room! Not really on topic, but I love the Cobras and Pythons!

Pythons were chambered in .38 special, also. The factory was supposed to put some out in .44 special but never heard of one actually getting out...That would have been something!!!!! Have seen a few of the .38's, though..

Anaconda was a .44 mag if my old memory is still working. I was a Dan Wesson man at the time (44VH) but the Colts were really beautiful revolvers.

My favorite is my pre-model 29. I have a few other wheel guns, but this is my favorite.

    Love them Smiths:
My favorite, 686 Hunter, a Lew Horton Special out of the performance Center (back when the PC made their own guns). 1 of 200 made.

Picking my favorite would be hard, But I think it would be my 5 1/2in Ruger Redhawk 41 Mag. I carry it everytime I am out in the woods.

I'm a simple man so my favorite is my first. My Taurus 627 with a 6 1/2 inch barrel. It is so much fun to shoot. I would really like to get hold of an older western style in any caliber.

Good heavens! That's like picking your favorite child.
Well, I am partial to my S&W model 66-1 but I love them all.
