I guess the same as everybody above. Golf balls, dancing balls and cubes, and orange peels on paper plates.

I still love to grab a brick of .22's and a bag of pop cans and head to the fence row.

My favorite targets are quarters, nickels, and dimes. Pennies are hard to see against a dirt mound so they aren't my favorites but they do work just as well.

Next one is clothing line rope. Hang it from a target stand with a rock slightly swinging and try to cut the rope. Then there are Q-Tips and golf balls. Golf balls aren't very fun with .22's because they don't move much, but I have a quarter that actually caught the bullet.

Oh, and of course alcohol based hair spray aerosol cans! They fly really high up when shot with a .223 or 7.62!
+1 on the aerosol cans.I also buy used frying pans at garage sales for cheap. The handle makes it easy to stick in the ground or hang on a wire.

Paper plates always a good standard. Old fruit is fun. Spinny targets. I've got this big home made Jack looking thing, the ends are 3/4 circles and it will "walk" on the ground pending where hit. It is fun with the .22 and the .40s.

Cats in the trash, always good for the Ruger pellet air rifle.

My work gave us a terrible Christmas present this year (aluminum plate). So I pit a could rounds into it with the mosin from 100 yards. Actually turned out to be a decent gift.
