Is this ammo any good? I just bought some for my new AR, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this ammo? It looks like it's the military ammo, but i've read somewhere that it could be "seconds" or stuff that didn't get approved for use by military. Any comments would be appreciated.

Don't quote me on this, but from what I've heard the X means it wasn't accepted by the military for one reason or another.

Ive shot alot of this stuff before and it works just fine. Its actually pretty good ammo. Its accurate and fairly hot. So buy whatever you can afford and dont be afraid to shoot it.

It and the XM193 are both good to go.

thanks. I bought some in an ammo can on stripper clips i believe from cheaperthandirt. I'll probably use this for target and stock up ammo because i don't want to shoot steel cased out of my gun.
