As long as we disregard the 10th Amendment from the Bill of Rights, we will be eternally trapped in this kind of destructive waste.

Well of course, how else do you expect them to phone in their vote to American Idol?

Got to keep the poor sheep distracted and addicted.

Read between the lines. Who actually profited from the program? Cellphone companies lobby Congress to help them create jobs and pay taxes and donate to reelections.

When you give congress to much power... corporations buy them off.

The answer: take away federal power.

and make term limits...... politics should never be a career.

Tell that to all the colleges who offer Poli-sci major programs of study.
Along with "Sports Management", it ranks in my top ten most worthless degree fields. Yet, they are sooooooo popular. Both teach how to fleece and use people for your own personal gain.

I'm going to disagree with you on that one. A life in service to the public is a very honorable one. It is a shame so many abuse it. It is the PEOPLE'S job to regulate and control the government. Relying on the .gov to regulate itself leads down a treacherous path.

But they are only suppposed to use those free cell phones for looking for employment purposes. Also, some places are also providing low end model computers and free internet access to the poor so they can look for work and file for unemployment from the comfort of their rent subsidized homes. Ain't America just great$%&#@**@*$%??? I would not be surprised if they also get free cable television so they can relax and be cheaply entertained while they are waiting on their unemployment checks or responses to the one or two job applications that they file each week. Do not know if cable television is included in the deals.

Term limits make it easier to passthe buck to the next administration. Take the healthcare bill, they m-ake it take effect after 2014 when the current admin is gone and it is the incoming admins fault. Then the new admin blames the old and nothing ever really gets done which migh not be a bad idea for a decade or 2

    Taxation is theft.

I blame the idiots who support a personal federal income tax, or a national sales or flat tax as much as the politicians who support this or the people cashing in.

As long as people condone theft aka wealth redistribution aka taxation, this is the result.

A big f.u. to the socialists and those who advocate theft.

Term limits have not purified the presidency and it wont purify congress either.

The problem is they have usurped power not given in the Constitution. This massive unlimited power invites corruption. If congress can run you out of business, you better start influencing them or be run out of business.

A corporation has two choices, bribe congress and own them or be owned by them. Their competition will bribe congress through lobbyists and use the law to undermine their business. So it's either work with congress in corruption or be run out of business by those who will bribe congress.

Until we obey the 10th amendment and the US Constitution again we will swirl down the toilet of tyranny into the septic pit of socialism.

Take away the power of the Federal Government back to the limited powers enumerated in the Constitution and THATS ALL.

    Set us free!
