And how soon we forget that good old Tricky Dicky Nixon also had a wage/price freeze in the early 1970s. I had a summer job back then and remember the owner laughing that he wanted to give out raises, but the president banned them.

That's mostly a commentary about the fascist nature of FDR and the compliant Congress during WW2. No infringement of liberty was too much for them. Imprisoning citizens without trial, confiscating gold and private property, creating massive entitlement programs, sodomizing the free-market as demonstrated in this thread. These things have haunted us for generations. The American Government was fascist and remains so till this day.

Man isn't that the truth. Labels don't mean a thing any more. Right, left, liberal, conservative, socialist, capitalist, communist, people don't even know what they USED to mean. They just know what Rush told them today and they can't even remember more than up to the first commercial from that.
