Thinking about buying something from out of state and will need to have it shipped to a dealer. Suggestions? I don't mind driving a bit for a better price.

I joined the site when I saw this thread.

I have helped Dianne Penley at the 1500 Indy show for several years now. She only charges $10 for transfers. She is usually around and a really nice person to do business with.

As for Rick Edmonson, he no longer has his FFL. Not at liberty to go into detail.

I know bradis on the south side does transfers, but last time I checked it was like $35. May have gone down in price though.

Anybody ever been here? I stopped by a few times during posted hours and it's never open. It's a good sized building.

Anyone knows if Edmo's is still in operation? I can never find the place open and both the listed numbers are answered by a FAX tone.

I know nothing more about this than that I read this reply when I read the thread.

Edmo's has been closed for years. It is a nice building though, too bad he doesn't do anything with it.

There is a gun shop in Mohawk Plaza on Rangeline just North of the Police Station/Town Hall. Can't remember the name. Driven by it but never went in.

I know where you're talking about, but that doesn't help, I've never been able to find that place open or get through on their number either. It must be nice to be able to have hundreds of square feet of store space and never have to open your door.

I believe the place you are thinking of is Quartermaster. It is a law enforcement supply store, not a gun shop. One of the guys working there was an ffl but I am not sure that is the case anymore (either he doesnt work there or his ffl is not active.)
