Finally got me a .45! (XD content inside)

Well one of my best friends soon to be husband just got home on leave and mentioned to me he had an XD45 Tactical he'd sell me, we talked about it, I mentioned I wanted a 1911, but wasn't ready to buy the one I wanted, sooooo I bought this:

and I won't discuss the price, but I will say, i'll never get a deal that great again!

I got to fire it 5 times before purchase, and I really can't wait to fire it again!

Just obtained one myself. Got it on a trade deal from a member here. Ive ran about 400 rds through it without a hiccup. No problem shooting 1.25"groups at 8 yds. Ive always carried some type of compact but im in the market for a comfortable holster to start packing this bad boy around in.

aside from my buddy's 1911

I believe the tactical version has the accessories with it and it might have a couple different rail types underneath... I'll have to research it more...

XD's and XDM's rock and do not get the respect they deserve. I have had a bunch of them and yet to have any issues at all.

Mine is a XD9 sc It has been my EDC and paper punch for several years, going thru many thousands of rounds without complaint. I just hope I never need it for anything but range practice and training!

So I bought a couple Pearce magazine extensions, suppose to add 2 round, but I can't get them to work for more than one extra round each... I'll post pix later

I have the XD45C. Great shooting gun and very easy to shoot accurately. My grandson shot mine when he was 14 and did a good job hitting the target at 25 feet.

You are going to love that gun.

Nice gun. I carried one just like it for a couple of years before Springfield started making the XDm45. I basically just buy every XD/XDm .45acp product they come out with.

Okay so here's what it looks like, it only added one round to each magazine and made the 13 round mag look very odd so I need to get another 10 round I suppose...
