Europe --> Indiana is night and day difference for gun rights / gun ownership. Welcome!

One question though is your immigration status. Depending on type (citizen, permanent resident or temporary resident) it impacts what you can or can not legally do with firearms. (Citizen or permanent resident are the same, but lots of restrictions on temporary resident.)

Thank you! It really is! As a firearm enthusiast I've been extremely restricted over there and it's like finally taking a deep breath after being under water for a while... I'm a legal permanent resident, looking to become a citizen when the waiting time has passed!

My wife is from IN and her whole family still lives here.. and I quite like it!
Now you can't leave us hanging...
Europe is a pretty good size place, with lots of different countries.
Where did you used to be so restricted?
I know most everywhere in Europe restricts firearms possession/use but some countries are much worse than others.

My wife and I recently moved from Europe to Indiana. I've been reading on this site for months and finally set up an account! Looking forward to dive in more!

Hope you have a good day!

From where do you hail in europe? What are your firearms interests?

Do you desire to become a citizen?

Welcome to Indiana. Lived three years in the U.K and traveled all over Europe with the USAF. Hope to go back and visit Italy in the future. Don't miss the laws, taxes and restrictions on freedom.

    Welcome from SWIN!
I would say we need more information for our files but since you're from Europe, I would imagine there's already one on you.
    A thick one.

Born and raised in Germany. I've been in law enforcement for 10+ years so I had access to firearms, training etc. but to get in touch with it as a private person there is SO MUCH to go through... And the general public's opinion on that is worse than the worst lefty over here :runaway:
