Well thigns have been hit or miss on working on the knives. Work, weather and other hobbies seem to have really gotten more attention or kept me distracted. Although today I managed to sneak a little work in.

The Curly Koa for the scales, brass pins. Kinda my thing with these Damascus billets.

Out of the oven, drowned it in the oil and the pattern makes it's first appearance.

That is going to be a beautiful piece of work. Thank you for the photos. Is it becoming difficult to find Koa wood now? (or just very expensive?)

The days being a bit warmer are making time in the shop much more pleasant, although the cold I seem to be coming down with isn't helping.

No. 37, SPK is finally ready to be sharpened and will be available later this week.

The curls in this set of Koa are bonkers as usual and I cannot wait to see it finished...
