Absolute # by jkaetz's method = 1,183

Second is probably more accurate as most likely the folks who joined before me were still there then, but a high percentage have likely left.

I don't believe they delete inactive accounts, based on the dates I'm seeing in many of the "last visit" results for 2008 members. I would assume they leave inactives and just whack the nut jobs. Most of them, anyway...
