I need to get my fingerprints done for a Florida License. Any PD I assume I walk in, tell them what I want, and they will either print me then or set up time to come back? I was thinking Columbus PD or Seymour PD(more likely as I'm down here most during business hours)

For Florida, near as I could tell, I can't get them electronically done unless I'm in the state.

Thanks,

Are you going to reside in Florida, do you have a residence if they required? What are your intentions exactly?

YOU WILL NEED A FINGERPRINT CARD MAILED TO YOU IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:
1. If you do not use the streamlined process at one of our regional offices, or
2. If you download your application and will not have your fingerprints electronically scanned at a Florida law enforcement agency.

Not sure if this helps any..? I tried.

Call your local police departments and ask about this. I went to a small PD in an adjacent county to me and they printed me for free.

Years ago when I got my Florida license, I was fingerprinted at the local Sheriff's office. Unless something has changed, I received a packet from the Florida Department Of Agriculture with a fingerprint card enclosed. Also, when you mail the packet back, you'll have to include proof of some type of formal firearm training.

A DD214 does the trick.

Seymour PD did my fingerprints for both my FL and UT licenses. You can get the 2x2 passport photo at CVS.

Here in Clark County they would not do it and referred me to some company I would have had to set up an appointment. I later found out The UPS store will do an ink and card fingerprint.
