Fingerprints

I need to get my fingerprints done for a Florida License. Any PD I assume I walk in, tell them what I want, and they will either print me then or set up time to come back? I was thinking Columbus PD or Seymour PD(more likely as I'm down here most during business hours)

For Florida, near as I could tell, I can't get them electronically done unless I'm in the state.

My intentions are to have a Florida Permit while Residing in Indiana so I have reciprocity in more states.

I will probably just swing by. Thinking of running over to BtB after work anyway. PD is right behind if I recall right.

Years ago when I got my Florida license, I was fingerprinted at the local Sheriff's office. Unless something has changed, I received a packet from the Florida Department Of Agriculture with a fingerprint card enclosed. Also, when you mail the packet back, you'll have to include proof of some type of formal firearm training.

I think in Mishwaka i paid $10 to have them do it. This was before they had the other options.

Thanks everyone. I ended up running down to the Columbus PD this week. 5 bucks. They said 'meh, happens all the time'...so its more normal than I thought..

Seymour PD did my fingerprints for both my FL and UT licenses. You can get the 2x2 passport photo at CVS.

Yep. Got pics Wednesday at Walgreens. I think it's ready to mail. Notary is done too

Here in Clark County they would not do it and referred me to some company I would have had to set up an appointment. I later found out The UPS store will do an ink and card fingerprint.
