I kind of like Uncle Kut... differing opinions help keep the debate lively on :ingo:

    :yesway:

I everyone agreed with me, it'd get boring around here REAL fast.
Course, I've dated women that have managed to try (or accomplished) knocking me in the head with old fashioned wall phones, lightweight frying pans, and cast iron frying pans.
So, my idea of "lively" may be miscalibrated.

When I read his posts it sounds like Billy Dee Williams in my head.

Interesting premise for this thread, but a bit off. It shouldn't be "who needs a gun for survival?" Plain and simple, a gun is a valuable tool in some survival situations. What I question are those people who have a truckload of guns for survival. I can't think of anything other than the most extreme, Mad-Max-I-Am-Legend type of situation where lots and lots and guns would be necessary or practical. Realistically, having a handgun for personal defense and a rifle for personal defense and hunting make sense to me. If the SHTF for real you're more likely to be overrun by an angry mob before you could take down enough of them.
