The American Revolution also would never have happened without "gun control";

General Gage's men, under the command of Major Pitcairn, marched on Lexington to capture John Hancock and Samuel Adams, but their mission continued on to Concord with the aim of seizing the gunpowder and shot from the community's powder house. They knew they could not take the muskets and rifles without bloodshed, so they went instead after an easier target.

The American Revolution of 1775 was incited by "gun control"...
