UPDATE: Well the build is complete, and I must say it looks and shoots great. Ill post up what I purchase with some specs as well as a picture. I will still add a sling, and some folding secondary sights. I will also more than likely get a new buttstock. Not a fan of this one.

Hold out for the 1:7 barrel and M16 spec bolt group.

If it's going to be CQB/home defense I'd run it as a pistol until you get the SBR stamp. Put a red dot/BUS on it and call it done for about a year.

Good luck, made mine last fall before the craziness....yer gonna love putting it together! Mine is a spikes 1:7 16in upper on a Quenten Defense Lower....too cool!!

I have my lower receiver parts kit installed. swapped the grip for a magpul. waiting on my upper receiver, stock, charging handle, and a few other things to come in. Pics will be up once its more than just a lower receiver
