I currently don't own any semi auto pistols  I am a revolver fanatic. I have a S&W 19,29,66,629,500 So i decided to start looking for a auto pistol. What do you guys think of the IWI Desert eagle. It's tempting me. I can use my existing rounds. and with conversion kit i can go 357-44-50AE.
Any input would be awesome :)

My boss owns a IWI made baby eagle (.40) and I have had the chance to handle it afew times. I like it for what it is and IWI makes good quality weapons. For you coming from a revolver to a semi-auto I'd say stick with the solid metal frames. Revolvers carry more weight with them and from the listing of what you own I would assume you have experience shooting them. You may then feel more comfortable shooting a solid metal framed semi-auto. A polymer framed pistol are always lighter and can be hard to get use to for guys/gals that have been firing heavier pistols in the past.
