First catch of the year

[U.S. Patriot]

A friend of mine has a house on Sweetwater lake. We went crappie fishing last weekend and the crappie where going nuts. We caught 22 in roughly 3 1/2 hours. Made for a nice dinner.

This is one of the bigger ones I caught.

Fish are yucky. I wouldnt touch it either.

Im just jealous since i have not gotten out yet.

Hey, I believe you are fishing almost in front of the family's place. North end of the lake just before the buoys where you have to turn around and head back South?

Edit: Just looked a little closer. You are actually a little South of there but I know the spot. Crappie flock to that spot for some reason.

I am jealous too. I've been fishing with no luck and mushroom hunting and no luck. I hope this is not a hint to what my turkey season is going to be like. The weather will be messing up everything.
