The way someone knows I'm not carrying is .... I'm naked! Every waking hr (actually have an LCP on when sleeping, too) I am armed. Figure if awakened in the middle of the night by someone standing over me, the last thing they would think is that some joker would be wearing a gun to bed.

Hey what about replacing your glass windows with some heavy plexy? You will be able to tell when the next fool tries to punch that in from the howl of pain when they break their hand. Really glad to hear the family is OK, definitely a great to be prepared.
