First Time CC'ing

I just got mine last week and let me tell you what, it feels good walking around with a Colt Commander strapped to my hip and nobody knows it's there.

CC is almost always pretty uneventful. I have been doing it for many years and have never had any one comment on it. I guess because it was concealed

I'm always paraniod that people are going to be able to see it poking out a bit because i can see it poke my shirt but i need to realize the only reason i notice it like that is because i know its there

Anyone have any tips for OC'ing? I know there is somewhat of a "legal" guide stickied on here about how to deal with LEO's when you get in trouble...I guess the most obvious thing would be to be polite and calm no matter what happens.

I couldn't agree more. I feel the same way when I CC.

Don't cover it up.

Seriously, just be confident and polite.

Congrats on excercising your rights! Yes only you notice it, most people won't even look you in the eye anymore in public let alone study your waist.

I remember when I got my LTCH laminated at the FedEx store. Once I showed the girl behind the counter what I wanted laminated she went from being rather dismissive to being on of the most helpful and polite "customer service" people I ever encountered. She must have been a gun groupie.

You hardly notice it is there when it is there and it only seems strange when it isn't.
