    As usual, I got nuttin. No ice yet for my friends to go. I blame my beagles for making me take them hunting at 1st light. At least, that's what happened last year. Hope to fix that this year when the weather permits.

    BIL in SD has ice, but that's a long way for walleye. Going to be a while around here. Still hovering +/- freezing. Haven't had some fresh perch in a long while.

    it has been an exceptional perch year already. Catching them is easy. Finding them is the hard part. But now we know what to do. No ice..no problem. one way or another we will catch fish.

    I'll wait until it gets a bit warmer. Heavy clothing, blood thinners and in a kayak don't work together.
    Enid Lake, MS will have their habitat day 2/3/2024. Friday's overnight low will be 39 with a high of 52 Saturday. I collected 14 Christmas trees and looking for more material to carry. On some fishing websites and facebook groups I asked about a group bamboo cutting day this month. Haven't got a reply from anyone.
