I have a couple of St Croix rods in need of repair. One spinning and one casting. I take them to Canada every year and they see some pretty heavy use up there. One just has an eyelet with the ceramic insert missing but the other had the last 6" busted off.

Anyone know of a place in or near Indy that does good work? I could send them back to St Croix but that is a pain.

Years ago, the last time I broke an expensive rod tip, I went to the shop in Moorseville. That rod is still going strong and it still gets beat like a rented mule.

PS Rumor here is you can go to the St. Croix factory and get QC rejects cheap. We are planning a trip to https://leinie.com/AV.aspx?returnUrl=default.aspx in Eau Claire then bounce up to the St. Croix factory, then to my friends place for some fishing.

Several years ago there was a place on the near East Side of Indy owned by a retired IPD officer that serviced reels and Coleman Gear. I do not know if it is still in business :yesway:
