I'm changing the springs in my STI Edge's magazines for the first time. The magazines are 140 mm, 40 S&W with +1 basepads from Dawson. The original springs have 11 coils, while the new one's (from Wolff) have 13. Should I match the # of coils, and trim the new springs? The packaging says fitting will be required.
