Attempting to replace even a single galvanized pipe piece or fitting can result in a days worth of work and 10's of feet of pipe.

Thats my plan later this fall when work is slow. All my work will be in the garage and crawl space. As of about this time last year, I no longer have any galvanized pipe in the house. I replaced everything with pex when I built the addition on the house. I put shut offs on everything too.
I probably tore out 500 pounds of galvanized. So glad that mess is gone.
