    I recently bought a .40 FN Hi-power that came with an extra 9mm barrel.
    What needs to be done to use the barrel safely in the HP?

    I'd guess the recoil spring has to be changed out, the difference in recoil spring tension between 40s and 9s are substantial so I'd be surprised if it used the same one.

    Kinda neat though, didn't know anyone did conversion barrels
