It's rather strange this is just now being done. The FNS product line booklet already shows the FNS9 in as competition.

Right after the unicorns poo rainbows and we get some SCAR H mags. And some barrel assemblies.

Argh. I love their products but have no faith in the company.

From their press release, "production is projected to begin sometime in the January – April 2013 timeframe"

It goes from a 4" barrel FNS to 5". The sights and rest look the same to me from the pictures I've seen. I really like my FNS-9, the 5" model will be a temptation.
