    I've never tried British bacon before. Once when i was really young my grandfather made me some jowl bacon. It was probably the thickest cut of bacon I had ever seen and also very salty. I still dream about that bacon to this day.

    I very recently watched a program called 'Should I worry about...?' from the BBC about sausages. I learned that sausages in Britain are the equivalent of hamburgers here in the states.

    I try telling these damn colonials that they're not eating bacon...they're eating salt encrusted fat.

    REAL Bacon is what A_Brit_In_Indy posted up. It's MEAT... with some fat. And lots of meat.
