For the modelers

Anyone have models of guns, cannons or planes.
I made these from wood and corrugated paper from the craft store. They're about 6.5" long. All wood and paper, painted and weathered .303 calibur mg's that will be fitted on a WWI warbird.

This is more of a toy than a realistic model, but it I made it from scratch.

That's neat as hell! Is the cannon steel or aluminum?

I did an MG-34 out of wood and PVC. Does that count? I've since sanded and filled it to where the wood grain doesn't show.

Pretty cool,think it would be great to have at work for those pesky coworkers. Better than flipping them with rubber bands.

That is cool. I've seen working replica models of cannons that you can buy and I'd like to get one. Cannons are awesome!

The barrel was made out of a steel roller from a copier. I actually had a thread about this little thing some time ago if you're interested in seeing more.
