The factory sbr finally came into the dealer today. Got the forms filled out by them and got home and noticed it says .223 caliber marked on the forms. The rifle is marked 5.56. Is this a problem or should it be changed? I have not sent them in or took them to have CLEO sign off yet.

What does the barrel have marked on it? If it shows 5.56/.223 then you should be GTG the way I understand it. You can swap out uppers as long as you still have one marked as your form states.

This is if you are talking about an AR configuration. I assumed so.

My lower is marked Multi. I sent the Form 1 in as .22 lr which was the first upper I put on it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, curraheeguns is right. Saying 556 is different than 223 is like saying 9mm +P is different than 9mm
