Fortress is offering our Level I Pistol Course, Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22.​

This is the foundation course that all of our others are built on, and the last local Level I we'll be offering in 2013.

Cost is $285 (prices will increase in 2014)

Ages 18, and up.

Round count: 500

-Safety/range safety
-Holster choice and concealment options
-Ammunition selection
-Loading/unloading/chamber check
-Sights/trigger control
-Drawstroke from concealment
-Movement
-Verbal disengagement and challenges
-The legal, ethical, spiritual and moral issues regarding defense with firearms.
-The aftermath of a defensive shooting
-Marksmanship
-Moving targets
-Low light/night shooting
-Flashlight techniques
-Hostage resolution

I'm not exactly in the category you mention, but I've been in other classes with Frank and trained alongside him as a student many times. He's one of the best teachers I've encountered and his experience in terms of time and depth is not matched by many who aren't already "big names." I'm not saying that just because he's my friend. I've been in a lot of classes with a lot of different instructors, so I have significant experience in assessing the teachers. If you want to get started on the road to learning how to protect yourself, you can't do much better than this class with Fortress Defense.
