Sharpshooter
My buddy and I took our youngest kids - 3 of them ages 8 to 12 - to the range yesterday for their first time. Most of a brick of .22LR was expended, and everybody had a great time. We'd both been drilling the Four Rules and it was pretty funny to hear an 8yr old boy ask his dad if he wanted to destroy his car because the muzzle was (unavoidably) pointed at it as it came out of the case. Proud to say that none of the kids made any safety errors handling the guns.
And of course, the Dads had some fun with bigger stuff before the day was through. Then I had to clean 7 different weapons before bed, but what can you do?
