Which part in the day light are you scared of Hopper, mall or neighborhood - and which neighborhood?

My aunt and uncle used to live just off Post Road, north of 25th, on Neptune Drive. I don't recall the name of the neighborhood anymore. My company used to have our DR location in the old mall off Washington, which made me feel uneasy during the day.

I live close by, I feel perfectly safe going where ever I need to, never get hassled. I would guess that most of what happens is between people that know each other. I don't know many $#1^heads so...

I bet you're completely right about this, that the bad stuff happening (not just here, but anywhere bad stuff happens) is often between people who know each other. And I'm admittedly a bit guilty of falling into what I remember things being like as a care-free little guy wearing an "Underdog" Halloween costume vs. what the local news portrays. My apologies, I don't mean to stir the pot, I just remember that area being an innocent place to be when I was younger.

I lived in the apartments right behind there, Briergate 30th and Post from 2007-2008. I may or may not have a bus route on Neptune (both sides of Neptune).

Not sure why you consider it rhetorical or snarky. That was my first thought as well. Considering how the gun was used (not for personal defense), it also would not be out of the realm of possibility.

Something like 70% of "crime victims" either "know" their attacker, or are criminals, themselves .....

Unless they fabricated it themselves, they "paid" for it in some manner. Capitalism, ya know.

They probably bought food with foodstamps, received a welfare check, and used the proceeds to fund their criminal endeavors. Socialism, ya know.
