Fragile bears

My wife bought home a couple bears that say welcome. They are light and fragile, and the wind will blow them over. I drilled a small hole in the bottom and tried to add some play sand through a funnel. Unpossile.

Is there something I can pick up at Lowe's tomorrow that will go through a funnel?

find a hardware store that stores its play sand indoors. This white play sand flows VERY well when perfectly dry.

Worst case bring home a damp bag, spread some out indoors in the garage and let it dry for a couple days.

make sure it is very fine white play sand. The cheap construction sand is very large grains. The bag I posted flows very well. Im talking hourglass well.

Dont let it leak in your car. Its hell to vac up out of the carpet. LOL

5 lb bag of table salt if doable.


bag of portland cement, couple cups, tap side of funnel, add a cup of water n shake. Tape over hole, set upright for a while.

Maybe widen the hole and pick up a rubber stopper from a hardware store?

at lowe's? double sided tape. In the painting aisle. If you need more than 20 lbs, i think it is in Aisle 17 they told me 16 last week. but it was 17

You may need to drill a larger hole and a funnel with a larger outlet opening. Clumpy sand is a bugger, dry it out. I may have to do the same thing, as wife brought home some ceramic mushrooms that are light weight.
